EugeneBookStore Summary
Servant of the Shard launches the Paths of Darkness series while spotlighting two of the Forgotten Realms’ most compelling antiheroes—Artemis Entreri and Jarlaxle. Originally conceived as a bridge between major Drizzt novels, it became one of Salvatore’s most acclaimed character-driven adventures and laid the groundwork for later adventures featuring these iconic rogues.
Collector Notes
This is the first book in the Paths of Darkness series and marks the beginning of the popular Entreri and Jarlaxle storyline. It is highly sought after by Forgotten Realms collectors because it expands beyond the traditional Drizzt-focused novels while remaining an essential part of the overall chronology. Wizards of the Coast first printings remain consistently collectible.
