Hardcover with dust jacket. This is a nice-looking copy with relatively modest shelf wear. The jacket has light rubbing and surface scratching, minor edge wear, and several small bumps/creases along the upper edge. The corners show light wear. The front’s metallic gold/orange artwork remains strong and attractive. The back jacket has light surface marks and edge wear. A very strong EugeneBookStore title. Rebecca Yarros and the Empyrean series have unusually high name recognition, and Iron Flame remains a heavily sought-after contemporary fantasy/romantasy book.
This is the standard hardcover edition, rather than one of the scarcer special editions. Its clean presentation and dust jacket make it a good store copy, although the enormous number of copies printed means ordinary used copies are no longer particularly scarce.
This copy gives us an interesting example of the difference between an edition and a printing.
ISBN 9781649374172 is the original U.S. Red Tower Books hardcover edition, published November 7, 2023. Library cataloging records explicitly identify the ISBN as the First Edition and give 623 numbered pages.
